Plastic surgeons warn patients to check doctors’ credentials

ASPS President said in an interview with ABC: “What we want [patients] to do is to have face to face interviews with the person who’s doing the surgery and to ask questions: What type of surgeon are you, what qualifications are they, what facilities they’re going to be done in, are they licensed to perform general anaesthetic for that type of procedure, who’s going to be doing their aftercare, who’s going to be doing their anaesthetic.”
