As a specialty, we should continue to strive to improve aesthetic training opportunities. As such, ASPS is keen to support the Training Board by facilitating additional aesthetic training for SET trainees. Solely private-based Specialist Plastic Surgeons are potential support for the education of SET trainees and these members may like the opportunity to participate in SET training. Stand-alone private hospital aesthetic rotations offer excellent opportunities if negotiation regarding conditions can be met.
