Dr Peter Widdowson was born in New Zealand in 1952 and is married with 5 children. Following his graduation through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons with a Gold Medal in Surgery in 1982 and post graduate study in Glasgow, Scotland, England and Australia, Dr Widdowson accepted a Consultant position at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton in 1987. He was a Director of Plastic Surgery at Waikato Hospital for 12 years prior to joining the Lotus Institute in 1999 where he has specialised in all areas of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery.
