Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC)

he Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) is a government agency which was established by the Commonwealth, with the support of State and Territory governments, to lead and coordinate national improvements in safety and quality in health care across Australia. ASPS is a key stakeholder and formally responds to all ACSQHC consultation rounds as it develops its national standards. Our key focus has been to encourage ACSQHC to implement standards for office-based surgery.
