Dr Foti Sofiadellis

Dr Sofiadellis is an Australian-trained Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical experience.

He completed his MBChB in 2001 with honours in Anatomy. After furthering his clinical experience in Melbourne, he was selected by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons for specialty training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2013. His specialist training included gold-standard management of aesthetic and skin cancer patients in major public & private Queensland hospitals.

Once he received specialist recognition FRACS(Plast), Dr Sofiadellis was invited to fellowships at St Thomas’, Great Ormond Street & Imperial College health hospitals in London. While operating with mentors at these world-leading institutes, Dr Sofiadellis became an expert in hand, breast and head & neck reconstruction.

His London practice included dermatology and aesthetic surgery at the Cadogan & Harley street clinics. As a member of various course faculties, including King’s College, and Imperial College he continues to train the next generation of surgeons.

He held an honorary contract at Great Ormond Street Hospital and was an examiner at the University College London medical school.
Dr Sofiadellis is passionate about innovation and has actively contributed to plastic surgery research with peer-reviewed publications amounting to more than one hundred citations.

Dr Sofiadellis currently practices at The Avenue Hospital – Ramsey Health, and is affiliated with Epworth Eastern Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria.
