Mr Mark Lee

Dr Mark Lee MBBS FRACS (Plastic Surgery) is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a major interest in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.

Dr Mark Lee grew up in Perth and attended Medical School at the University of Western Australia achieving distinctions and prizes in both medicine and surgery. Dr Mark Lee’s internship, residency and basic surgical training were undertaken at Royal Perth Hospital, followed by 5 years of plastic surgery training. After completing his plastic surgery training requirements Dr Mark Lee spent 12 months in an advanced fellowship position in Oxford (United Kingdom), which included teaching undergraduates at Trinity College, University of Oxford.

Dr Mark Lee has been in private practice since 2002. Dr Mark Lee spent three years in the role of Head of Department of Plastic Surgery at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital, with admitting rights and accreditation at Royal Perth, Princess Margaret and Fremantle Hospitals.

Dr Mark Lee’s private rooms are located in the McCourt Street Medical Centre, St John of God Hospital, Subiaco. Private operating is performed at St John of God Subiaco, Hollywood Private Hospital and Bethesda Hospital.

Over the last 5 years Dr Lee has been heavily involved with national governance & education. He has been an elected Councillor for Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, is on the Education Committee for the Australasian Foundation for Plastic Surgery and Editor in Chief of the newly formed Australasian Journal of Plastic Surgery. Dr Lee is also involved in the Western Australian Melanoma Advisory Society and the Skin Cancer Steering Committee.
