Professor Wayne Morrison AM

Graduated University Melbourne, overseas training in plastic, hand and cosmetic surgery in Glasgow, Paris and Miami. Currently plastic surgeon to St Vincent’s public and private hospitals (SVH). Former Professor of Surgery University Melbourne and Head of the Plastic and Reconstructive surgery dept. SVH. Former Director, O’Brien Institute of Microsurgery and Tissue Engineering, a research centre dedicated to developing new techniques of tissue regeneration and repair. Published over 300 articles, awarded many lectureships, honorary fellowships/ memberships of international societies including International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Past president of Australian Hand surgery Society and the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM). Awarded Order of Australia, AM, in 2001.
