The Emmett Prize comprises of 2 x $1,500 awards for the Best Research Presentation and the Best Clinical Presentation by a trainee at the annual SET2-5 Registrars’ Conference.
The Best Research Presentation requires applicants to submit a piece of original clinical research which provides analysis of formal research undertaken by the trainee related to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
The Best Clinical Presentation requires registrars to make a presentation related to any aspect of clinical practice including but not restricted to technique and analysis, new technique presentation review and analysis, morbidity/ mortality data from clinical series, prospective clinical trials and retrospective reviews of case series.
