A Training Handbook has been developed and contains practical information for Trainees and Surgical Supervisors in relation to: the Training Regulations; the requirements for completion of the SET Program in PRS; and processes that must be followed by those involved in the training program.
The information in this handbook is in compliance with the Australian Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s Training Regulations which have been approved by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). Principle-based policies of RACS underpin all Board Training Regulations. Should there be a discrepancy between the information in the handbook and the Training Regulations, Board decisions will be based upon the Training Regulations.
This Training Handbook supersedes all previous versions of the Training Handbook.
Queries regarding the SET Program in PRS may be directed to the ASPS Education and Training Unit via firstname.lastname@example.org.
