Webinar: Global Plastic Surgery – Dr Mikko Larsen

Assoc Prof Nicola Dean will be joined by Dr Mikko Larsen who is a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon, active as teaching faculty for the Australia and New Zealand Burns Association and Interplast.

The topic is Global Plastic Surgery, specifically the evolution from Humanitarian Plastic Surgery and towards empowerment of LMIC countries and challenged regions such as the Northern Territory to provide their own plastic surgery training and services. Dr Larsen will focus on the role of ICOPLAST, ASPS and Interplast in this endeavour.
