Australasian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Research Network (APRSRN)

WHAT is APRSRN?
Australasian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Research Network (APRSRN) aims to improve the science of plastic and reconstructive surgery. It is a practice-based research network that supports the development of high-quality research skills among registrars and plastic surgeons. APRSRN supports equal partnership between clinicians and research academics in order to improve health care outcomes.
AIMS
APRSRN aims to support research and quality improvement of care by developing a vibrant community of practice in research, linking clinician researchers through a central research hub and providing access to information and dissemination of network research findings.
APRSRN RESEARCH SNAPSHOT
APRSRN members have demonstrated exceptional leadership, collectively producing close to 200 publications in 2024. This remarkable output represents a steady increase compared to previous periods, considering the network’s changing membership numbers over time.
The global reach and impact of these publications are undeniable with research spanning an impressive array of topics, including Basic Science, Aesthetic Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery, Burns, and Microsurgery.
The continued growth of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery research promises to provide a strong platform for informing stakeholders of our commitment to advancing techniques, technologies, and treatments.
See APRSRN ORCID ID with list of publications.
