Professional Profile
Dr Gillian Farrell is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon with a particular interest in plastic surgery of the breast including reconstruction after mastectomy and correction of developmental asymmetry.
Dr Farrell works with a number of breast surgeons performing immediate reconstructions in patients undergoing mastectomy and oncoplastic surgery following wide local excision for breast cancer.
She is currently based at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne and serves as Head of Plastic Surgery in the Northern Territory. Additionally, she holds the title of Associate Professor at Monash University in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Dr Farrell does not engage in private practice.
