Dr Duncan Taylor

Dr Duncan Taylor is a Perth-based, fully accredited Specialist Plastic Surgeon with 20 years of specialist training and experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He holds Specialist status from the United Kingdom (Royal College of Surgeons of England) and Australia (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) and furthered his experience and interests in Microsurgical Reconstruction with Fellowships from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth and the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust, London.

Since 2016 Dr Taylor has continued his dedicated work in WA in surgical oncology, focusing on skin and melanoma and microsurgical reconstruction (predominantly Autologous Breast Reconstruction). He has performed a number of ‘First’ operations for WA in the field of microsurgery in’ free’ and ‘perforator’ flaps and is considered a leader in this field. Duncan is also heavily involved in the management of skin cancer within WA, participating in a number of Multidisciplinary committees in North and South metropolitan regions, including the WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS).
Duncan holds public hospital positions at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fiona Stanley Hospitals and works privately out of his rooms in West Perth and operating in numerous Private Hospitals in North and South Metro regions.
