Dr Henry Shepherd

Dr Henry Shepherd is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (FRACS) who trained with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine with first-class honours equivalent from the University of New South Wales, and a Master of Surgery in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Sydney University.

Dr Shepherd has trained internationally in London, New York, Paris and Barcelona. This included an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious The London Clinic – a world-leading institution which is the hospital of choice for royal families, celebrities and the ultra-wealthy. During his time here, he worked alongside pioneers in breast, body and facial aesthetics.

Dr Shepherd also completed a Reconstructive and Microsurgery Fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, considered one of the top 10 cancer hospitals globally. His area of focus was skin cancer management and reconstruction following breast cancer and sarcoma. He was part of the team who performed the first robotic microsurgical breast reconstruction in the United Kingdom.
