Dr James Gaffield

A native of California, Dr. James Gaffield founded Pacific Plastic Surgery in 2005. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Gaffield is committed to using his skill as a plastic surgeon to help those in need: he has undertaken multiple volunteer surgical missions to treat patients with cleft lips and palates in the Philippines.
Dr. James Gaffield received his medical education in the United States and honed his skills as a plastic surgeon in private practice in Philadelphia for two years before relocating to Queensland, Australia. He undergoes regular continuing education to meet the requirements set forth by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Medical Board of California for every plastic surgeon, and pursues additional training as needed to keep his Mackay and Bundaberg practices at the forefront of the field.
As a plastic surgeon, Dr. James Gaffield is fully certified and accredited in both the United States and Australia. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in both general and plastic surgery, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in plastic surgery. Dr Gaffield is an active member of both the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
