Dr Marion Chan

Hi there! I’m Marion Chan, a fully qualified Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Melbourne, Australia. I was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 2007, and subsequently received training as a junior doctor in a diverse range of medical and surgical fields prior to commencing formal specialist surgical training.

I initially began my surgical career by completing two years of intensive accredited General Surgery training in breast surgery, upper gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery. Upon entering formal training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in 2013, I subsequently completed my fellowship examinations and was admitted as a Fellow of the College.

I currently hold both public and private appointments as a fully qualified (FRACS) Plastic Surgeon. My main interest lies in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, and I am heavily involved every week with routine management of breast cancer patients undergoing reconstruction at Eastern Health through their well established Breast Cancer Centre. In the private sector I am able to perform cosmetic procedures – such as breast augmentation, mastopexy (lifts), reductions, implant revision procedures and abdominoplasty (tummy tucks).
