Dr Matthew Starr

Dr Matthew Starr is an Australian and internationally trained Board Certified Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon. Dr Starr grew up in Wollongong and is in fact the only plastic surgeon exclusively based in the Illawarra and South Coast. Being a local, Dr Starr understands the problems, needs and lifestyles of this great coastal community.

After completing his medical and surgical training in Sydney, Dr Starr travelled to Europe to pursue his passion for breast and body contouring surgery, reconstructive microsurgery and paediatric plastic surgery. Based in London, he successfully completed postgraduate fellowships at the internationally renowned Great Ormond Street and Royal Marsden Hospitals.

Dr Starr has since returned home to Wollongong and opened Coastal Aesthetics – a boutique cosmetic plastic surgery clinic dedicated to excellence in breast and body surgery. Dr Starr also performs eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, ear surgery and skin cancer surgery.
