Dr Samantha Valvis

Dr Samantha Valvis is an Australian trained Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Perth, Western Australia.

She graduated with Distinction from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and completed Core Surgical Training (MRCS RCSEng) in the United Kingdom before relocating to Perth in 2012 to commence her post graduate research degree (MD). Her research, conducted in association with the Fiona Wood Foundation and the Burns Research Unit at the University of Western Australia, has focused on the immune response to burn injury. During this time, she was awarded the Cynthia Banham Research Fellowship Prize.

Upon completing her specialist training in 2024, she undertook an Upper Limb, Peripheral Nerve and Congenital Hand Fellowship at the Leeds General Infirmary in the United Kingdom, gaining advanced expertise in managing complex upper limb conditions, peripheral nerve injuries, and congenital hand anomalies. Following her time at Leeds, she pursued an Aesthetic Fellowship at the Coppergate Clinic in York, focusing on facial aesthetic surgery and expanding her repertoire of surgical techniques.

She currently holds public consultant appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital, where her passion for research and development is complemented by her commitment to teaching and training junior doctors.

In her private practice at the Rodin Clinic in Perth, she oZers a comprehensive range of procedures including reconstructive hand surgery, treatment of peripheral nerve injuries, management of skin lesions and advanced facial aesthetic surgeries.
