Mr Ian Loh

Mr Ian Loh is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with an interest in both adult and pediatric plastic surgery, holding various professional memberships and affiliations.

He graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007, completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy through the University of Melbourne in 2010 & also received a Masters of Surgery in 2017 through Monash University.
During his Plastic Surgery training he worked at major Melbourne hospitals including The Alfred, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Monash Health and Western Health. He then completed an additional 18 months of subspecialty training in Craniofacial and Cleft Surgery through the Royal Children’s Hospital and the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada.

Mr Loh cares for all patients with Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgical needs. He has particular interests in head and neck surgery including facial reconstruction and facial aesthetics, paediatric cleft and craniofacial surgery, skin cancer surgery, breast surgery and hand surgery.

Mr Loh is warm and thorough and believes in a collaborative approach between surgeon and patient to achieve the best results. He listens to your desired goals or concerns to establish a realistic surgical plan.

Mr Loh holds current public appointments as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Monash Health and The Royal Children’s Hospital. He has also published multiple research papers and is involved in teaching current plastic surgery trainees.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and young family, running, reading & playing soccer.
