Mr James Finkemeyer

James is a Specialist Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon who undertook Plastic Surgical training in Victoria earning a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Following qualification in Australia, he worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital & the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre before undertaking further specialised training. He undertook two international fellowships at Oxford University Hospitals and Vancouver General Hospital in Microsurgery and Craniofacial Surgery as well as clinical observorships in Sweden, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom and Spain. He has a passion for research and education. He has authored a number of publications in international medical journals and presented at national and international conferences in his field of interest.

His practice is broad and encompasses many of the disciplines of Plastic Surgery while combining the aesthetic and reconstructive principles of his training.
