Mr Lewis Blennerhassett

Dr Lewis Blennerhassett has been a fully qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon since 2000. Trained in Australia and the USA, his interests include Facial and Breast plastic surgery and hand surgery. He has served as WA Board Chairman of Plastic Surgeons for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (selecting future plastic surgery advanced trainees, developing their curriculum and examining them), Chairman of the Board for the International Medical Graduates (assessing foreign trained plastic surgeons and their eligibility to practice in Australia) and President of the Western Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is past Head of Department of Princess Margaret Hospital Plastic Surgery Department and past Supervisor of Training for Plastic Surgery WA.

Dr Blennerhassett was the winner of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’ travelling fellowship award in 1999. Following this, a Fellowship was completed at a Harvard Medical School affiliated program in Boston USA in 1999-2000.
