Mr Mark Hanikeri

Mark completed medical training at the University of Western Australia in 1994, he obtained the qualification of Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2003 and was then selected as a fellow in Craniofacial surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. He completed a further 12 months post fellowship training in Craniofacial, Cosmetic and Facial trauma surgery. Mark established a private practice in Perth in 2005 and was a founding member of the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre. Mark is involved in charity work and through his role as a director of Operation Rainbow Australia and as a surgical volunteer to the Rafiki Mission, has worked in the Philippines and Africa treating adults and children in these countries with Burn scars contracture and Cleft Lip and Palate. He has been a director in Operation Rainbow Australia since 2011. Mark is involved in Melanoma management and in 2010 assumed the role of director of the Western Australian Melanoma Advisory Service. Through this, he has published educational material and chaired a number of melanoma meetings in Western Australia.

His main area of interest are facial and breast aesthetic and reconstructive surgery and body contouring surgery.
