Mr Namal Munasinghe

Dr Namal Munasinghe is very passionate about plastic surgery and works to achieve the best possible outcome for all of his patients.

He will always walk with you throughout your surgical journey and makes sure that all aspects of your care are explained thoroughly.

Dr Namal began and completed Plastics and Reconstructive training in Australia and has worked with many reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons at hospitals in Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth, before deciding to call Melbourne home. He has worked in the specialty of plastic surgery for over 10 years gaining vast experience in many areas, including working in the Victorian Adult Burns Service at the Alfred Hospital.

Dr Namal started his surgical training in Yorkshire and obtained MRCS from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Munasinghe graduated from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka and then completed his internship at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, UK.

Being a devoted husband, father and son, Namal understands the importance of treating patients the way you would like your family members to be treated.
