Professor Tony Holmes AO

Tony Holmes is currently Senior Plastic Surgeon at the RCH and a Clinical Professor at Melbourne University. A graduate of Melbourne University, he is qualified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

Tony’s paediatric practice is mainly Cleft and Craniofacial surgery. His private adult practice is mainly Rhinoplasty and Nasal Reconstruction.

Tony has trained a large number of cleft and craniofacial surgeons, both locally and internationally. The majority are now Heads of Department at their respective institutions.

Tony was the McIndoe Lecturer for the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons in 2010. He was also the Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Visiting Professor for 2012.
