Professional Profile

Dr Ling-Yun Alice Chang has multiple appointments in both public and private adult hospitals, catering for both adult and paediatric patients. Dr Chang has more than 10 years of plastic surgical experience in addition to another 3 years training in general surgery. As an UNSW medical graduate with honours, Dr Chang qualified as a plastic surgeon in Sydney. In pursuit of surgical excellence, Dr Chang undertook further sub-specialised training as a Craniofacial Surgery Fellow with world-renowned surgeon Professor Phillip Chen in Taipei, Taiwan. This intensive International Craniofacial Surgical fellowship focused on paediatric and adult cleft lip and palate surgery, as well as cleft rhinoplasty and secondary cleft revision surgery. Dr Chang currently holds Visiting Medical Officer appointments at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
