Professional Profile

Dr Jack Harbison is a specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon awarded his fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeon in 2016. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Cancer Society and the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr Harbison has undertaken post fellowship training in microvascular surgery, head and neck cancer surgery and the management of craniofacial trauma. Currently Dr Harbison works at the Royal Adelaide Hospital providing subspecialty care in these areas. He attends the head and neck cancer and the sarcoma multi disciplinary meetings as a resection and reconstructive surgeon. As part of his Royal Australiasian College, Plastic Surgery fellowship Dr Harbison has undertaken training in the management of melanoma and non melanoma skin cancer, challenging reconstructions, surgery of the hand (elective and trauma), body contouring and cosmetic surgery. Dr Harbison attends national and international meetings to keep up to date with the latest treatments and is responsible for co ordinating structured teaching for the South Australian Plastic Surgery trainees. Currently Dr Harbison consults at The Royal Adelaide Hospital, Plastic Surgery Central in Dulwich and Riverland General Hospital in Berri. He operates in Berri and in Adelaide.
