Professional Profile
Ms. Niamh Corduff, FRACS, is the Clinical Director of Cosmetic Refinement Clinic Geelong and has more than 27 years of outstanding medical service, experience, and achievements. Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Niamh has worked for 29 years in Australia to become a well-respected and leading plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon based on many years of training and experience initially at London’s Charing Cross Hospital then Liverpool Plastic surgery including the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. She transferred to Australia in 1988 where she completed her Australasian fellowship in Plastic Surgery in Melbourne She furthered her experience with fellowships in the UK, Norway, and Canada before settling back in Australia Early in her career, Niamh developed a strong interest in reconstructive breast surgery. During this time, Niamh noted the lack of female surgeons available in the field and this encouraged her to open her own female only practice for women specialising in plastic surgery of the breast. Niamh has received considerable recognition for her work as a plastic surgeon and as a pioneer in breast surgery where she dedicated time to researching the field and had her findings published in medical journals and textbooks.
