Dr Nicholas Solanki is a Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon. Dr Solanki completed his advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in South Australia and was awarded Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Following this he undertook post-fellowship experience working in Auckland with a focus in Burn Surgery. Prior to undertaking his medical studies at Flinders University, he undertook a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering degrees from the University of Adelaide. Dr Solanki has consultant appointments at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he is involved in clinical practice, research and teaching. He is currently the supervisor of training for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The focus of his practice includes skin oncology including melanoma and sarcoma, body contouring procedures, hand surgery and aesthetic surgery. Dr Solanki consults from Plastic Surgery Central and operates at the day surgery (Central Day Surgery), St Andrews Hospital and the Calvary Wakefield Surgicentre.
