Dr Drielsma is an Australian trained Specialist Plastic Surgeon specialising in cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and body as well as management of skin cancer reconstruction and hand surgery. His basic medical degree was completed at the University of Sydney in 1982. During this time he also completed a Bachelor of Science degree. Plastic Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Drielsma underwent a further 14 years training following medical school before commencing private practice. He trained in General surgery becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1990. He then entered advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Sydney qualifying in this discipline: FRACS (plast) in 1993. Following Plastic and Reconstructive training in Sydney, Dr Drielsma spent a further 3 years overseas in post-fellowship training including in East Grinstead and London England, Paris France and Toronto Canada. Dr Drielsma practiced in Canberra for some 13 years before moving his practice to Bondi Junction Sydney in 2010.
