Dr Shahriar Raj Zaman is an Australian and Internationally trained fully qualified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. He qualified from University of Western Australia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Following graduation, he pursued several years of surgical training not only in plastic surgery but also in neurosurgery and general surgery for further experience. He is Australian board certified; completing the Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) examination in June 2022. Following completion of his training Dr Zaman pursued further sub specialty training in Seoul, South Korea at the world renowned Asan Medical Centre in complex microsurgical reconstruction. After this Dr Zaman proceeded to seek further training in aesthetic surgery in Sydney, under the auspices of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons based out of the prestigious Macquarie University. The valuable experience there was with some of the leading breast, body and face aesthetic surgeons in the field. Dr Zaman is a respected figure in the medical community, recognized for his commitment to education and research. His contributions to the field extend beyond the confines of the operating room, as evidenced by his publication record both domestically and internationally. His fellowships internationally and locally is evidence of his desire to continually deliver the very best care for his patients. His surgical experience is extensive and particular interests include hand surgery, melanoma & skin cancer, complex microsurgical reconstructions as well as aesthetic breast and body contouring surgery. Dr Zaman’s warm and caring approach ensures that he provides a personalized bespoke treatment plan for you.
