Dr Shiby migrated to Australia from India in 2006 and has been practising in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 1997. He has worked in his specialist field at the Royal Darwin Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and also the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Senior lecturer with Flinders University since 2011. Instrumental in getting RDH accredited for training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery by the RACS and Board of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Works with Volunteer Medical Mission doing Cleft lip and Palate procedures with Helping Children Smile. Dr Shiby performs elective surgeries in patients with, as examples, skin cancers and melanoma including sentinel node biopsies and lymph node clearance, compression neuropathy – carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel syndrome, Guyon’s canal release and ear surgery (otoplasty). He also​ performs cosmetic surgeries such as breast augmentation and breast lift, abdominoplasty, facelift, brow lift and neck lift.
