Mr William Cockburn

Dr Cockburn is a highly experienced and caring Specialist Plastic Surgeon. Training entails an eight-year programme of post-graduate training supervised by the Royal Australian College of Plastic Surgeons. He is now a senior figure in the Plastic Surgery community and has been both counsellor and past President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr Cockburn is known for his quiet sensitivity to patient needs and feelings, and the clarity and candidness of his advice.

His biggest passion is Plastic Surgery. Ask him what attracts him to the profession and he’ll tell you it’s the diversity of the work. “It’s the best job in the world. People come to me in trouble and I fix their problems if I can. What plastic surgeons do is unique and different every time.”
