The AHSS PFET Programme continues to be one of the most highly sought-after fellowships in our field, offering exceptional opportunities for professional development and clinical experience.

We would like to remind you that PFET applications are now open for fellowships commencing in February and August 2029. Please notify any potential candidates or encourage them to apply online.

Key Dates and Details:

  • Applications Close: 30 June each year
  • Due to the increasing number of applicants, applications will be assessed on a competitive basis.
  • We anticipate conducting interviews in the evening in August.
  • Successful appointments expected to be finalised at the end of September.

The Australian & New Zealand Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons (ANZSCMFS) Post Fellowship Education and Training (PFET) Program provides the opportunity for suitably qualified independent specialists to undertake extensive education and training to achieve advanced proficiency, knowledge and skills in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery. 

The goals of the training and education programme are to:

  • provide an opportunity to obtain the knowledge, skills, clinical judgement and attitudes essential to the practice of CMFS

  • educate surgeons who are able to lead and establish national and world standards in the treatment of CMFS patients and establish international leadership in CMFS research.
