Australasian Foundation for Plastic Surgery

Australasian Foundation for Plastic Surgery Limited (the Foundation) is the philanthropic and charitable arm of its two member organisations – Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons. Our vision is to harness the philanthropic spirit and unique knowledge of Specialist Plastic Surgeons to deliver innovative and sustainable projects that provide tangible benefits to patients and their communities.

  • The Foundation supports education, training and research activities to enhance scientific knowledge.
  • Our wound management outreach program focused on improving wound management and health outcomes for people living in rural and remote communities.
  • Our self esteem program aims to generate awareness and to deliver reliable information to young people and medical practitioners to better equip them to understand and manage issues related to poor body image and low self esteem.

Our outreach programs are planned, designed and implemented in collaboration with trusted partners particularly those with expertise working in regional, rural and remote communities.

Along with the New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons Inc is proud to be a company member of the Foundation.
